This part of the journey is coming to an end, but there is always more to discover. Keeping up with new developments and finding new uses is an ongoing process. I learned a lot, and will go back to do more with some of the tools.
In addition to offering new classes to patrons - e.g. Twitter and FaceBook - 2.0 tools and resources can be incorporated into existing classes and web pages. E.g., Google Docs could be mentioned in Word and Excel classes, as a brief add-on - for those who could use an alternative to sending documents back and forth by email or carrying them on CDs or other media. I've seen a few patrons frustrated by losing their latest updates to their documents, or trying to figure out how to best get them on another computer; this could be helpful. It will be interesting to discuss other possibilities.
The self discovery approach worked pretty well. In future programs, it would be nice to have a few discussions in person along the way.
